What is the Condition System?

It is the Scorched Earth heat scale used across every product we build. Flavor tells you what the product is. Condition tells you what level of intensity to expect.

What is the difference between Condition 1 and Condition 2?

Condition 1 is the controlled entry point: approachable warmth built for everyday use. Condition 2 is the operational baseline: noticeably hotter, with deliberate escalation while the food stays in command.

Are Conditions 3 and 4 available?

Not yet. They are visible so you can see where the system is headed, but both are marked Coming Soon and cannot be purchased.

How hot is SMOKED Hot Honey?

Heat tolerance is personal. Condition 1 is designed for heat-curious eaters and daily use. Condition 2 brings a clearer ghost-pepper kick that builds and lingers without abandoning flavor.

What does it taste like?

Sweetness first, deep smoke second, and controlled heat after that. The goal is to improve the food—not cover it up.

What are the ingredients?

Honey, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, sea salt, and ghost pepper. Always review the product label before use and contact us with ingredient or allergy questions.

Does it need to be refrigerated?

No. Store it tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.

What if the honey crystallizes or separates?

Natural honey can crystallize or separate. Stir or shake it, or gently warm the closed bottle in warm water. Do not microwave the bottle.

What should I put it on?

Pizza, chicken, barbecue, biscuits, breakfast sandwiches, roasted vegetables, cheese boards, and anywhere sweetness, smoke, and heat can earn their place.

When will my order ship?

Orders are generally processed within 3–5 business days. Current shipping terms and available destinations are listed in our Shipping Policy.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact us within seven days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the package and product. See our Refund Policy for details.

Is honey safe for infants?

No. Do not feed honey to children under 12 months of age.

Is Scorched Earth veteran-owned?

Yes. Scorched Earth Spice Co. was founded in Houston by Allen Cooper, a Marine Corps veteran. The discipline, accountability, and ownership learned through his service shape the standard behind the company.
